Marisol or Elizabeth?

Who should I get? I was going to buy Elizabeth,but seeing all the pictures of Marisol gave me a desire to buy her which one? I'm going to use one of them at friend's wedding shower to decorate the table she is going to wear a frilly white dress. (sigh)

I think you should get Marisol because she is a Limited Edition doll and she won't be around for much longer. Elizabeth, on the other hand will probably be available for several years.

I personally prefer Elizabeth, but pick whichever doll you like best. Don't base your decision on what other people say. It seems like you do prefer Marisol, so maybe you want to get her before she is gone. Think about it for as long as you want to, and then decide [img]smile.gif[/img] .

I think Marisol is prettier because I love her slightly darker skin and the color of her hair, but I would get her because she is a LE. If you don't bond with her, you can sell her (hopefully for a tidy profit) and buy Elizabeth. But if you buy Elizabeth and don't bond, Marisol will be gone by then.

Does your friend look like either Marisol or Elizabeth? If so, you might want to use the doll that matches most. Otherwise, I'd get Marisol if I were you. If you decide a year from now you don't like her as much as you thought you would, you could sell her and get Elizabeth. I'm crazy over both Marisol and Elizabeth so it would be impossible for me to choose just one. I need both!

My friend looks more like Elizabeth,but if Marisol won't be here next year then...umm.. maybe I can scrape up enough money to get both of them this year. My sister already thinks I'm crazy though.I wonder what she'll think when two dolls arrive.

Marisol won't be around for as long as Elizabeth, so I would say if you want Marisol at all you should get her now. You can always get Elizabeth later, but you won't want to have to pay ebay prices for Marisol! I have Marisol, and she is very pretty. I don't think you would regret getting Marisol. I also agree with what Balletmom said about selling her later. You could most likely easily make enough money to buy Elizabeth. Let us know which one you decide upon!

I agree that you should get Mari. She is gorgeous. And I don't want you to have the regret of not getting her while she was reasonably priced! Believe me...I have been through that!!!

I love my Marisol!! She was my first AG doll after years of dreaming about owning one. I don't regret picking her because she is so beautiful.

Personally I think the white dress would look great against her deeper skin tone.
